Cars 2 is just around the corner, so we thought we'd show this Cars-themed cupcake set today. Emily loves the original movie, and can't wait to see the next one.

Durian Cake
Davao, our home town, is celebrating the Kadayawan festival this week. Kadayawan is in many ways a harvest celebration because this is the month when the fruits are in bounty. And one of the fruits that Davao is best known for is the stinky but sweet durian.
Emily made this durian cake for a birthday celebration. The cake itself wasn't durian but carrot walnut. Emily just made up the design to look like the real thing.

Sexy Beach Scene Anniversary Cake
In case you're wondering, yes, Emily does "naughty" cakes, but owing to the audience of this blog, we won't -- can't -- feature them here. So here's something that's cute and sexy at the same time instead: an anniversary cake for a young couple, done in the manner of a beach scene.

Mickey and Friends Fondant Figurines
We've featured the Mickey's Clubhouse cake before on this site; here's a close-up of the characters. Emily's work has a distinctive look that's recognizable as the figurines she's sculpting, but also has a style uniquely her own.

Snow White Cake
If the Snow White in this cake seems shorter than expected, it's because she's supposed to represent the birthday girl Tiffany. Her seven cousins, all much older than she but who love her very much, ordered this cake for her.
